This Wiki site is not about selling your favorite fictional characters,pilgrim and fictional reality they exist within..We are not here promote Star Trek,Star Wars,Doctor Who,Battlestar Galactica,Babylon 5,Cona and other even if we like them.We are not here to promote Marvel Comic or DC Comic crap-they have plenty to promote them already,so we are not out to preserve the holy cause-fight the triumph of their mighty Superhero Cruasade.Get this before you sign on.Put anything up,beyond a link or used as scolarly fashion and it gets booted and so do you.That goes adult date,dating ads,insurence ads or selling your granfather vintage tv set.

This will mainly an encyclopedia on science fiction, but since that include other genres and mediums, all other non science fiction material may be added-actors bios, science, books. This is my change edited and express opinions as I feel, with some editor deciding what’s what and if any, it can be allowed to stay up, online.

Mainly this to showcase Maveric Lion Entertainment creative projects.I;m not here to promote other companies or other people creative efforts.

What we are.

This isn't over night,wow Star Wars,Star Trek and Stargate is cool,so lets rip em off kind of thing.I've trying to develope my own material forever-since I was a kid.This a 30 year journey to here.I didn't bang this together in a three hour conference like Marvel did their New Universe flop line.My brother Carl Edward Thompson works with on this.I've had false starts-revamps and revamps of revamps.Creativety isn't just bang one ,two three.It alot of hard work.I don't do fan fiction of other peoples material,nor do I have any burning desire to play in the fictional realities mentioned about.To those I am a fan,just like you.This here is my creative playground,not there.and really don't how many other sell out to play in those fiction playgounds.I don't and don't care to,neither-hopefully never.It's hard enough coming up your own material,without having worry their continuety or whatever.

So now enter into the wonderous and fantastic multi reality that is the Maveric Universe,oh seeker of the unusual and beyond the realm of places undreamed of.Where Great Wizards of Time and Space do battle Great Warriors of Time and Space,over a fantastic eons old Temporal Cold Wars,throughout all the infinite cosmic heavens of space.Great Titanic worlds known as Dysonsphere deside the fate of every universe,A titanic fight of good and evil,with the the untold sentient being caught in the middle.

I choose the new spelling of Maveric,instead of the standard spelling of Maverick,while designing a logo for my Maveric Comic logo and forgot the K.I showed this my brother Carl who noticed the missing K.I going to change ity,but since he too many other people spell it with the k,like Bret Maverick-one of the reasons,I choose the name in the first place and I'm talking Jim Garner,not Mel Gibson here,to go with this version.I did not choose because it sounded Marvel like,although being close to a list of companies near Marvel wouldn't hurt or was aware of any Dark Horse Maverick Comic Line,although being associated with them wouldn't neither-except their current Conan rubbish,other than reprints which I do not care for.I choose Maveric because I like the idea of going your own way-not following the trends,just to mindlessly follow trends.I've been anonconformist, independent, loner for years-going my own way.Beside Rockford Comics wouldn't worked.

Why Maveric ?What if you ask some moron,he respond in Scoobeedoo voice.Why doh no,Shaggy ?Ounds like Marble.?

No Shaggy and Scooby-go run around with your big sandwitch,being chased old man Drucker,who want you kids away from here and kindly shut the frack up-since you obviously don't what the frack you talike about.

I choosen heroes like James Bond.,Jim Kirk,Conan of Cimmeria,Han Solo,Spider-Man,Lt.Starbuck,Remington Steel,Neal MacKathry. because they followed their own path-their own way,even if cause troubles along the way.Anyacehole can mindlessly follow the pack and most do,buying crap,watching tv shows and movies,taking drugs and drink because the pack says so,you'll fit in,if you do it,even along the way you become nothing but a pawn to buy into our way or it leads to your own destruction in the end.Sure being apart of the incrown can be good,but most of us into popular fiction,science fiction,comics and certain genre related material understand the loner or outcast mentality.We get the X-Men,We get the beyond the norm crew of the Star Ship Enterprise-even it's apart of the bigger United Federation of Planets Star Fleet.We get the Rebel Alliance of Star Wars,fighting the mindless follow the leader Empire.And get Doctor Who,the one Time Lord,who goes his way in the Tardis.

Marvel Comics used to be the rebel comic company in the 1960's and 1970's,until it corporate in the 1980's and 1990's-now it just another branch of the Great Big Mouse,known as Dysney.Now it just krank out the latest version of the Fantastic Four,Spider-Man]] or the Avengers or X-Men,because they have a big trademark on the name or their some movie coming out,they need a tie in on.And DC Comics is corporate,it's just there to sell the latest version of Superman and Batman,or other to keep something going,that shouldn't lasted beyond the Golden Age of Comics,but has because alot of people them those guys despite the ir long age of existance.Now there's nothing wrong with selling your creative efforts or properties,but when you can see the difference from a good story-a good idea and pure whore like pimpery,then it's time either give it up or try something new.

And this why Maveric.Nothing more-nothing else.I want to go my own way.Not follow the trends,just to follow the trends-unless I believe those trends.Rebelling against stupidity is one thing,but rebelling against everything is just being an ass.Sorry,Brando-you can't ask what do you got-you got to know whats bad and go beyong it or fight against it.And Kang the Klingon ,not the Marvel [[Kang the Conqueror] would tell you,only a fool fights in a burning house.You fight because you have a reason,not to go against everyone else.

Origins

Began unofficially in 1973,with Original Toreus Warrior 2250 Sagas,the Maveric Universe was revised with Toreus The Slayer sagas and later Captain Toreus Rand Space Adventures.The Last Fare,introduced the whole concept of the Sarkhon Family and the Legion of Time Sorcerers ,into the mix.
